2012…Bringing the Heat!!
I am so excited about 2012!!!! Not only did I get engaged New Years Eve….I think I have designed my best collection yet!!! This year,
I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and incorporating more prints…we all know, I am not the biggest fan of prints, but hey, why not try it? I am also introducing more items to the resortwear collection including, sexy jumpsuits, sunglasses and bags! We are going hard this year folks and I am so excited about what’s to come.
The new collection should be ready to launch in March so be on the lookout. I have posted a few pics to give you a sneak peak of what to expect!!! LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN IN 2012!!!
DISCOVER THE ANIMAL WITHIN!!!
As many of you know, I am all about the sexy flowing dress that make men hang on your every movement! This week’s feature item is my favorite, “Animalistic”! This is the first dress I designed for Johnny Vincent and it is always a fan favorite.
Animalistic, shows off your every curve while concealing what I like to call, my “self made pockets”. This dress accents the smallest part of your waist, creating an hourglass shape. If you thought you didn’t have curves before, wait until you wear this dress; it makes you feel extraordinary sexy and beautiful. I should know, I have three of them myself!
Since we haven’t mass produced the dresses, you have an opportunity to have it designed your way! If you are somewhat “gifted” in the top area, you can have it made as I have. It provides great support for the “girlz”, which is why it’s my favorite. If you are not a fan of the thin strap we can make a wider strap for you for added support. If you are smaller on the top, request a plunging neckline and go for the WOW factor. You can totally rock it and still look sophisticated. We are also providing an opportunity for you to have it made backless!!! I love the element of surprise and that’s exactly what’s provided when you have Animalistic made backless.
I recommend Animalistic in the following fabrics: The Exotic Print, Zebra Print, Turquoise and the Coral Hot Pink fade. Place your order now and bring out your inner animalistic….LOVE IT!!!

America’s Top Model – Keenyah Hill Is Super Sexy In Johnny Vincent
New Press! XI
You may remember model and now burgeoning actress Keenyah Hill from Cycle 4 of America’s Next Top Model. As one of the final three before leaving the show, Keenyah showed her ability to be fierce, funny and resilient.
These very traits are what drew us to call upon the now seasoned model to show off her summertime sexy in Johnny Vincent’s Samba Nights Collection,

Choosing the Best Swimwear for Your Body Type
Enhancing a smaller breast
- Select lightly padded halter style tops or a demi cut with an underwire. A demi cut is similar to a bra, but it’s not the full cup. You can also look for swimsuits that have patterns or ruffles around the breast area. This will deflect attention away from the bust area
- Avoid bandeau tops, which make your breast look even smaller
Full Breast
- It is important to choose a swimsuit or bikini with support. The straps should be sturdy and full cups are a must; full breast are beautiful, spillage is not.
- It is very important if you’re buying a two-piece to make sure you have separation from your breast and torso. Without good support your breast and stomach will look like one, giving the illusion that you are larger than what you really are.
- Finding the perfect fit for your cup size may require you to go up in size.
- Select a bottom with a full cut to balance the top and bottom.
- To draw attention away from the bust area, try looking for a dark monochromatic top with a high neckline.
- Bandeau style bikini tops are not a winner for larger breast as they do not offer enough support or separation from the torso. However, if you really like this style try to find bandeaus with thick straps that you can tie around your neck.
Belly Bulge
- To hide the belly bulge consider buying swimsuits in dark colors or with a print to camouflage the tummy.
- Avoid purchasing any swimwear with horizontal stripes that will make the tummy area look even larger. Look for vertical lines that give the appearance of a slimmer waistline.
- Avoid buying a tankini. Many believe because tankinis are longer than a regular bikini top it will cover the stomach. Most of the time you will find that these tops began to rise exposing a hanging tummy.
- There are many swimsuits now that have tummy control, look for these and make sure they contain spandex or lycra.
Full Thighs and Hips
- Look for swimwear that gives you a leaner look. Vertical stripes will do the trick.
- If you are looking to hide the area look for cute little skirts or sheer shorts as a cover up.
Full bottom
- Look for swimwear that offers full coverage. Brazilian bottoms are great, but not comfortable if they disappear into oblivion. Bottoms with high cuts on the hip will appear to cut into your flesh if you do not have the perfect fit.
- Avoid large prints and horizontal stripes on the backside.
- Avoid ruffles on the bottom, which will draw attention to the area.
- If you are proud of your full bottom you probably don’t have to do much to show it off, however you should find swimwear that does so in a tasteful way. If you decide to wear horizontal stripes avoid buying a full bottom with horizontal stripes. Look for bikini bottoms that tie on the hip with a narrow cut in the back.
- My personal rule of thumb, hide the problem areas and draw attention to the gifts. If you don’t like your backside perhaps look for swimwear that has a full bottom and a deep neckline in the front. That takes attention away from the backside and brings all eyes forward.

Welcome to my Paradise
So here we are, the launch of the new site, a rejuvenation of sorts. Let me be the first to say to you…”Welcome to my Paradise”I debated what to write about in this first “blog” as this is so not my arena, however I just let the thoughts flow and below is the result.
First I would like to thank you all for visiting the site, for the continued support and all the love I’ve received over the past two years.
The idea of starting a swimwear company came from my love of travel, the beach, swimsuits and a lot of coaxing from my bf Traci. As they say, some people see your talent and your gift way before you do and that was her.
Before this idea came about you could always find me on some island baking in the sun. I wouldn’t leave the beach until sunset. For each trip I felt the need to purchase new swimwear, you know how we do…lol After awhile, I couldn’t find anything that fit properly, my boob would pop out if I leaned over or the stretch in the fabric didn’t hold after being in the water and most importantly I wanted more style, the swimwear in the marketplace just didn’t fit my “flavor” lol.
Granted, I was one of those that couldn’t afford a $400 bathing suit, but I damn sure looked like I could, thanks mom for that lesson! So out of that came evening design classes at Parsons School of Design in New York.
The following year I completed my first collection. That collection landed me a spot on BET Rip the Runway the next year. In the same month I did Rip The Runway I volunteered to leave my Corporate America job with a package and as they say, “the rest is history”.
I have to admit I am truly blessed to have accomplished so much in two years. In this world everything is word of mouth and because of it I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some important and “fab-u-lous” people. I am truly a product of when one door closes another opens.
Please visit us often, every Monday you will find a new topic on our blog! From my favorite items to hot new jewelry designers, hairstylist and summer must haves!
This is a new beginning for me and I will be happy to share the highs and the lows with you. You will be on this journey with me as many of you have been from the start.Feel free to email topics you wish to discuss as well as new finds you want to share with others. Follow me on Twitter for play by play bits of this journey as I try to build a company you can all be proud of!
Good night from paradise,
Celeste
Favorite Getaway – St Vincent!
Just the name St Vincent and the Grenadines evokes an emotive response with visions of exotic, idyllic island life. And the fantasy rings true. Imagine an island chain buried deep within the Caribbean Sea, uncluttered by tourist exploitation; white sand beaches on deserted islands, sky-blue water gently lapping the shore and barely a soul around. Thirty-two islands dot the seascape, all vying to one-up each other in terms of tranquility. St Vincent is the largest in the group, home to the capital, Kingstown. This lively town is a throwback to colonial times with cobblestone streets and locals rushing about.
Once you get off the big island and into the Grenadines, everything changes. Gone is the traffic, the hustle and the pavement. All you’re left with is a smattering of tiny islands waiting to be explored. In Bequia, beaches stretch out before you, the pace of life slows to a crawl and the desire to go home vanishes. You’ll find unassuming budget hideaways, where you can escape from the world and (almost) live like a king on the income of a pauper.
Or you can spend time on the island of Mustique where renting a house for the week will cost more than buying a luxury car.
These islands have enchanted sailors for centuries, and continue to do so. Whether you have your own vessel or are happy to hitch a ride, the island-hopping opportunities are irresistible. These islands were once the realm of real pirates but now they are the stomping grounds of the Pirates of the Caribbean. St Vincent and the Grenadines have jumped into the limelight thanks to Hollywood and they’re not looking back.
Samba Nights Has Arrived!
Designer, Celeste Johnny brings the sexiness and mystery of Brazil to life in her Resort 2011 collection, inspired by what she calls “Samba Nights”.The Collection stays true to Celeste’s use of vibrant colors. The colors selected are her vision of nights over Rio: Hues of red, purple, turquoise….and her trademark Hot Pink.Celeste has always thought of swimwear as transitional pieces.

Her pieces can be worn during a fashionable poolside party, and with the addition of a skirt or pant, you are ready for a sunset catamaran cruise. Johnny Vincent truly epitomizes resortwear-if there were a category for “yachtwear” this would be it.

Celeste sends a special thank you to Sergio Mendes. His music kept her motivated and helped her stay true to her vision of Brazil. “The song Magalenha not only kept me dancing, but sketching as well. I was so motivated listening to his music and wanted the designs to reflect what I imagined a night in Rio listening to that song would be like. What colors would you see, how would the people be moving, what would they look like? I wanted the collection to reflect the sexiness, the passion and the beauty of Brazil”
